Saperavi

This rich, full bodied, red cherry coloured, qvevri wine is reverently made inside a monastery a 30 year old monk known in Georgian as ‘Mama Makari’. It is made from Saperavi grapes, grown in Bolnisi. The wine pairs well with rich stews, spiced and roasted meats and blue cheese.
